By accessing and using GreenBounty's platform, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

GreenBounty provides a marketplace platform connecting recyclers with hunters for the collection and processing of recyclable materials. Our platform facilitates transactions but does not directly participate in the pickup, verification, or payment processes.

2. User Roles and Responsibilities

2.1 Recyclers

Recyclers are users who list recyclable materials for collection. As a recycler, you agree to:

• Provide accurate descriptions and weights of recyclable materials
• Schedule pickups in good faith and be available at the agreed time
• Ensure materials are accessible and safe for collection
• Provide honest ratings and reports about hunters
• Not misrepresent the quality or quantity of materials
• Comply with local recycling regulations and laws

2.2 Hunters

Hunters are users who pay to unlock pickup locations and collect recyclables. As a hunter, you agree to:

• Pay the required fee to unlock location and contact information
• Arrive at scheduled pickup times or communicate delays promptly
• Verify material quality and quantity before confirming pickup
• Provide honest ratings and reports about recyclers
• Handle materials safely and responsibly
• Comply with all local laws regarding waste collection and transportation
• Maintain appropriate licenses or permits required for commercial waste collection in your jurisdiction

3. Payment Terms

Unlock Fees: Hunters must pay an unlock fee to access recycler location details and contact information. This fee is non-refundable once the information is disclosed.

Material Payments: Payment for recyclable materials is agreed upon between recyclers and hunters based on our published rate calculator. GreenBounty is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

Platform Fees: GreenBounty may charge service fees for facilitating transactions. All fees will be clearly disclosed before any transaction is completed.

4. Ratings and Reports

Our platform includes a mutual rating and reporting system to ensure safety and accountability:

• Both recyclers and hunters can rate each other after each transaction
• Users can report inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or fraudulent activity
• Ratings and reports must be honest and based on actual experiences
• False or malicious ratings/reports may result in account suspension
• GreenBounty reserves the right to investigate and act on reports

5. Safety and Liability

User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your safety during pickups and interactions with other users. We recommend meeting in public places and taking appropriate safety precautions.

Limitation of Liability: GreenBounty is a platform service only. We do not verify materials, supervise pickups, or guarantee the conduct of users. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GREENBOUNTY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, OR CLAIMS ARISING FROM USER INTERACTIONS, PICKUPS, OR TRANSACTIONS.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold GreenBounty harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violations of these terms.

6. Prohibited Conduct

Users are prohibited from:

• Posting false or misleading information about materials
• Harassing, threatening, or defrauding other users
• Using the platform for illegal activities or hazardous waste disposal
• Circumventing the platform's payment or unlock systems
• Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or avoid fees
• Scraping or collecting user data for unauthorized purposes
• Interfering with the platform's operation or security

7. Account Termination

GreenBounty reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Receive multiple negative reports or ratings
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Pose a safety risk to other users

Users may also close their accounts at any time through account settings.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the GreenBounty platform, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of GreenBounty or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.

9. Dispute Resolution

User Disputes: Disputes between recyclers and hunters should be resolved directly between the parties. GreenBounty may provide assistance but is not obligated to intervene.

Platform Disputes: Any disputes with GreenBounty shall be governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction] and resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

10. Changes to Terms

GreenBounty reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
